How Do I Get Started?

A representative from your office needs to contact BRIGHTER SMILES and request a Doctor contract. This includes a fee schedule. We must have the Doctor contract signed and returned to us before any placements can be made.

How Much Notice Does BRIGHTER SMILES Need?

BRIGHTER SMILES handles short notices from an hour needed to a couple months out notice. BRIGHTER SMILES can be reached 7 days a week for those last minute emergencies.

Does BRIGHTER SMILES Have Insurance?

YES. BRIGHTER SMILES does cover each Independent Contractor with malpractice insurance. Your dental office will receive proof our policies in the mail. You will receive the first proof a few days after you sign the original Doctor contract. Then every January thereafter you will receive a new proof showing where we renewed our policies for the upcoming year. This is for
your records only.

Does the Dental Office Pay the Temp?

NO. The temp will come into your dental office with a time card which needs to be filled out by them and signed by a representative in your dental office. The temp forwards the time card to us. BRIGHTER SMILES pays the temp and invoices your dental office. It's that simple. BRIGHTER SMILES handles all payroll: this eliminates your need of W2's and 1099's.

When Is Payment Due?

We invoice your office after we receive the temp's time card. Payment is due within 15 days after receipt of invoice. Invoices which are not paid within 15 days bear interest at 2% per month.

Are There Any Other Requirements?

We require a 4-hour minimum per each work shift and at least a 24-hour cancellation notice. This does not include inclement weather.

Is There a Permanent Placement Fee?

Yes. The permanent placement fee is $995. Please contact BRIGHTER SMILES for the permanent placement contract. Our staff personally interviews and screens each Independent Contractor. We require background checks on all temps. This eliminates costly advertising for your office and helps speed up finding just that right employee.

Can We Request Certain Temps?

YES. If there is a particular temp that works well in your office you can request them back. If there is a particular temp that doesn't work well within your dental office you can also request that they not return. This is kept confidential if you have no preference then I send someone who is available on your needed days.

Why Is BRIGHTER SMILES Different Than Other Temp Agencies?

CARRIE MILLER, the owner of BRIGHTER SMILES, is also a dental hygienist. I know first hand how hard it is to find temporary placements. Finding a temp for any temporary placement is difficult and frustrating. I would get calls regularly myself asking if I could work or if I knew anyone else who could. These calls is what made me form BRIGHTER SMILES. I also know how having someone in your office lacking dental experience impacts your office. That is why I require previous dental experience on all our EDDA'S and dental assistants. Your office is already in a pinch by calling us, I will not send you a body just to fill a position.
